Again, Handsome Steve comes to my Rescue!!

Again, Handsome Steve comes to my Rescue!!(a nickname we gave him because he says he is Handsome in the Kitchen. He is a Big Cockney Bloke from the UK).
After walking the Pups 2day (I have a side job as a Dog Walker Monday - Friday), I had my Roller Bag & went Grocery Shopping - I bought $75 worth of Groceries (that is After Coupons & Club Card), I Crammed all my groceries in to my Roller Bag & started the Mile walk home. As I was walking, a Truck came by, I ignored it as I always do when cars drive slow by me (Hey, I`m a Small Girl, I walk a lot and I grew up in a Bad Part, like there is a Good Part of Pomona California, I learned fast how to be safe) - Well that Truck was Handsome Steve. He yelled out, 'Hey Stacy, get in!' I looked up, embarrassed that I ignored him, he grabbed my grocery cart, put it in his truck and drove me Home. He said he saw me walking down the street and turned around just to go get me. What a Great guy he is, Truly a Gentle Giant.

The Florida 'Stand your Ground Law' is Flawed & Stupid!

So, let me get this straight - if you kill someone driving, you get taken in and drug tested for DUI - But in Florida, you can shoot an un-armed kid and you get to go home? If you go back to the history of this Zimmerman A-Hole, he is nothing more than a 'Ticking Time Bomb Paranoid Racist Freak' - If I was in Florida, I would use this STUPID law against him and shoot him and 'claim' I felt in danger of him!!!!!

The Trayvon Martin Killing, Explained

How did a kid armed with Skittles and an iced tea get gunned down by an overeager neighborhood watch captain? And why didn't police detain shooter George Zimmerman?

Trayvon MartinAn undated photo of Trayvon Martin

On the evening of February 26, Trayvon Martin—an unarmed 17-year-old African American student—was confronted, shot, and killed near his home by George Zimmerman, a Latino neighborhood watch captain in the Orlando, Florida, suburb of Sanford. Zimmerman has not been charged with a crime. Since Martin's death and the release of more details, the case has garnered national media attention and sparked a host of public debates over racial tensions, vigilantism, police practices, and gun laws.

Read on for our primer, or jump to these latest updates:

What happened to Trayvon?

Martin, a Miami native, was visiting his father in Sanford and watching the NBA All-Star game at a house in a gated Sanford community, the Retreat at Twin Lakes. At halftime, Martin walked out to the nearby 7-Eleven to get some Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea. On his return trip, he drew the attention of Zimmerman, who was patrolling the neighborhood in a sport-utility vehicle and called 911 to report "a real suspicious guy."

"This guy looks like he's up to no good or he's on drugs or something," Zimmerman told the dispatcher. "It's raining, and he's just walking around looking about." The man tried to explain where he was. "Now he's coming towards me. He's got his hand in his waistband. And he's a black male...Something's wrong with him. Yup, he's coming to check me out. He's got something in his hands. I don't know what his deal is...These assholes, they always get away."

After discussing his location with the dispatcher, Zimmerman exclaimed, "Shit he's running," and the following sounds suggest he left his vehicle to run after Martin.

"Are you following him?" the dispatcher asked. Zimmerman replied: "Yep."

"Okay, we don't need you to do that," the dispatcher warned.

Several minutes later, according to other callers to 911 in the neighborhood, Zimmerman and Martin got into a wrestling match on the ground. One of the pair could be heard screaming for help. Then a single shot rang out, and Martin lay dead.

Are the 911 recordings available to the public?

Yes. After public pressure, the city of Sanford played the tapes for Martin's family, then released the audio recordings. Here are some excerpts. You can also read a full transcript of George Zimmerman's initial police call here, along with an examination of whether he used a racial epithet, as some listeners have suggested.

My Daily Beach Chores, Grocery Shopping and Cooking Dinner

I got up at 7am - Did my Normal Morning Routine of Taking Blanket off of Bird Cage, Feeding Cats, Feeding Bird, Changing Bird & Cat water, Cleaning Cat boxes and Bird Cage, Putting away Dishes I did the night before, Making Coffee for me, Green Tea for Roy, Making the Bed, Organizing Laundry, Exercise, Shower, Check Emails, etc. Then I got Ready and took a my Daily Beach Walk to go walk my Friend Nancy`s Dogs, since she has a Normal 9am-5pm Job and she needs someone to come walk her Pups, so I am that Girl. I left Nancy some Leftover M&M Cake that I baked over the weekend for my friend Reg in her Refrigerator. Read about that in my last post here.
After I walked Nancy`s Pups, I walked over to the Grocery Store to pick some Supplies. I am on foot due to I sold my Car (again, you can read about that here in my Older Post). The beauty of living in a Small Beach community is everything is either walking distance, Biking Distance, Bus Distance, Cheap Cab ride away or the Passport Trolly which is Only $1.25 per ride one way.
Today I walked to the Grocery store with my little cart that I bought at the LA County Fair (Pictured Below).
I went to the Grocery Store and bought a bunch of well needed supplies (Pictured at Top) that all pretty much fit in my Cart Bag (Pictured Above). I was pleasantly pleased to see how much fit in my cart and how easy it was to pull all the way home.
I got a lot of great deals this trip. It is Taco Tuesday, so I bought Taco ingredients. It is also St. Patrick`s Day on Saturday so Corned Beef was on sale as well as all the Fixings, so I bought Corned Beef, Rye Bread, Potatoes, Carrots & Cabbage. When I got home I put the groceries away & I started to put the Corned beef, Potatoes, Carrots & Cabbage in the Crock Pot, slow cooking it for over 10 hours so it can all be ready for the weekend. I then started browning the Ground Beef, making the taco filling, frying up the corn tortillas, molding them into taco shells, Chopping up the Cilantro, Red Onions, Lettuce and getting the cheese ready for dinner tonight. Roy went through 6 Tacos!!
The Only snag in this day was I accidentally bought parsley instead of cilantro! They were both sitting next to each other at the store and thought I made sure to get Cilantro, but when I got home to make dinner, I noticed it was parsley, Someone must have placed it in the wrong bin, URG!!! Thankfully Roy grabbed some cilantro on his way home from the gym. Tacos just taste better with Fresh Cilantro. Note to Grocery Store Stock Boys, Please do not Place Cilantro besides Parsley, PLEASE!!

Monday I made my Homemade Salmon Patties, my Grandmother`s Recipe.

I like to serve the Salmon Patties with Ginger Rice & Steamed Spinach.
Frying the Patties up until Brown then Flip over to Cook/Brown Other Side.
Making the Meatballs before Flattening them Out in Frying Pan.

Salmon Patties Recipe:

Mix in Bowl:
1 Can Of Pink Salmon
Chopped Celery
Chopped Onions (I prefer Red Onions)
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 Raw Eggs or 2 big Scoops of Mayonnaise
1/2 cup of Cracker or Hard Bread Crumbs
A Splash or two of Lemon Juice

Optional ingredients:
a Squirt of Mustard
Chopped Parsley
Chopped Pickles
Dash of Cayenne Pepper

After you mix thoroughly in Bowl, Make into Golf Ball Size Balls.
Pour some Oil in Pan and get to warm/hot
Dust some Cracker or Hard Bread Crumbs on your Hands
Grab your Salmon Ball and Flatten it to a Patty Dusting the Patty thoroughly in the Bread Crumbs
Place patties in the Frying Pan
Fry until they are Brown and Flip to Brown/Cook the other Side
Remove Patties with Spatula onto a Plate with a Paper Towel on it to absorb the excess Oil

I like to Serve the patties with a Lemon Wedge, Steamed Spinach and Ginger Rice.

Girl Scout Cookies, Baking Chocolate Cake & Brownies in the Same Week!

This week was my Friends Reg & Ed`s Birthday - So I baked Chocolate Brownies for Ed and Baked a Chocolate M&M Cake for Reg. It was also Girl Scout Cookie week, So I had to buy some Cookies as well. OMG - The house is full of leftovers, I cannot have this in my house! I will gain so much unwanted weight if they stay here. It takes a lot for me to throw away food, so instead I packed a bag of Brownies for Reg to take home - I gave as much cake away to Ed & my friend Nancy - and Roy seems to be eating the Cookies. Good, looks like I am saved!!

Beware of People that think People are Born to be Bad

People that say they have no faith in people should tell you not to have faith in them. People that say No one can be trusted reflects more about them - it should warn you more about them then believing their warnings of others. Beware of people who think people are Born to be Bad.

I know I am Trustworthy - I know I have no secret agenda - I know I am Honest - I know I am Good - so therefore I would assume I am not the Only one in the World like that - I would assume that there are others Like me.

Someone who knows they cannot be trusted - someone who has a secret agenda - someone who is not honest - They know they can be bad- would assume all are like them - they would have a hard time believing that someone could be that different then them.

I always have a debate with someone I know, who is convinced that All people are born bad and it takes work to be good. I see it opposite - I think All are born Good, but with Genetics, life experiences, chemicals, etc creates people act bad - I also think it is a lot easier to be good then bad - being bad, you have to always cover your tracks - it seems exhausting to me.
